If you think you have already seen everything in your life, you should come to our house and see what habits we have. Frankly said, I never thought that life can look some other way because I was raised in these circumstances. I just thought that this is the natural, normal and common course of things, no other reality existed for me. I saw something else, new standards and new ideas and priorities that people live up to when I met Peter, my boyfriend. And actually a fiancée already. Lets just focus on some of the differences between the way we live now in our new small apartment, and the way we used to live in my family house in Pennsylvania. Opening a window was a decision that had to be made by everybody. Each time you wanted to open a window, only for a while, you had to ask six people for permission. Nowadays it is only up to me. Peter respects me and accepts my needs. He is slowly getting used to the fact that I still keep on giving various things to the bathroom cabinet. In his family house, a bathroom cabinet served just the basic needs, for example the towels were inside. The toothpaste... and thanks to me many more items can be found in our bathroom cabinet. A cell phone, batteries, some money. I keep on forgetting things a lot.
